Yes I am slack

As you can tell from my lack of content I am actually really bad at adding anything to this webpage. I have recently made a reversal of decision. I am, as my sister so elegantly put it, not going to Serbia to get my head blown off. I am staying at the school I am at so I can finish off a conversion in my qualifications to a UK equivalent of my Australian one. It will also allow me to travel somewhere in the summer holidays stress free. Here are the photos from my trip to London a few weeks ago. I met up with my nephew and my neice and we had a little play. I think Amy needs to learn some manners. Also as you can clearly see I was the responsible one. I had to work the next day.

School holidays.

It is a record!!! I have managed to sleep in for more than one day. I haven't been getting up until the late hour of 8 'o'clock. It truely is a miracle. I think I am liking the daylight savings time. It sure beats waking up at 5 just because of habit. It also helps that it is school holidays. Not having to get up and be ready for a day at school certainly keeps the stress levels down. It also helps my vocal chords funnily enough??

I am also trialing a new routine of gym. My belly and butt were starting to get the better of me. I think it will help to keep me motivated too. Going to London on the weekend to play with my nephew. Should be fun although he is freaking out about some work thing, or should I say lack of work thing.

Looking forward to a proper break away from Birmingham. I tend to work if I'm here.

Who would have thunk it???

Well it seems that when is rains it storms... I have been applying for positions in International schools now for about 1 and 1/2 years now and I have finally gotten one. Well actually I was offered two as well as an interview for a position in the school I am presently working at. I was offered one in Kiev in the Ukraine as well as one in Belgrade in Serbia. After much research and tossing around of ideas I have decided to go to Belgrade in Serbia. The pay is less than Kiev but I think my life would be a little easier in Serbia. It is still a very good package. I get free accomodation and really small classes. Belgrade is more central than Kiev as well as the fact that there is an Australian Embassy there. Where in Kiev the embassy is run through the one in Moscow, which isn't necessarily ideal. Also the school is new, the whole building is new and expanding every year. I was going to publish some picture of Belgrade but I couldn't be assed now..
I am looking forward to a lighter work load. All I feel I have been doing here in the UK is work. Have rarely been out or really travelled that much. I have also decided to just hang out in the UK this easter break. I think I need a little respite. It has been go, go, go since I arrived.

This is actually a giant reindeer nose. It is an odd building that is known as Selfridges. Good shopping and shed loads of people here every weekend and in the afternoons. I don't get to see it during the day so I am not sure about then! Something to do with work interupts my not so busy social life.
